CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department attorney says that most of the body cam footage from last week's officer-involved shooting of Keith Scott is too gruesome to be released.
Police only released two minutes of the 16-minute long video.
The attorney says that the rest of the footage shows Scott's last moments alive. Police did not show that part to his family.
Police said 52 officers responded to the scene but the body cam and dash cam video came only from one officer.
