CHARLOTTE — Three of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools top leaders are retiring.
School board members tell Channel 9 they got retirement notices for Chief Financial Officer Kelly Kluttz, Chief HR Officer Angela Woods and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Melissa Balknight.
Their resignations will take effect in January.
Balknight temporarily stepped into the role of superintendent while Dr. Crystal Hill was on leave for two months this summer.
