Coastal NC property hits market with record-setting price tag

COROLLA, N.C. — An oceanfront home on North Carolina’s Outer Banks has just hit the market at what’s said to be a record-setting price.

Named “A Welcome Respite,” the 11,000-square-foot luxury property in Corolla is listed at $11 million — the highest in history for that market, according to the Outer Banks Association of Realtors.

Situated at the northern end of the state’s barrier islands, Corolla is a nearly seven-hour drive from Charlotte.

The property at 101 Station One Lane boasts 250 feet of private beach, according to a press release, as well as views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound.
