Construction starting soon on NoDa redevelopment project

CHARLOTTE — Atlanta-based Third & Urban is gearing up to break ground on its next Charlotte project, a mixed-use development in NoDa.

The Pass will consist of 260,000 square feet of creative office, retail and upscale multifamily housing. Construction is slated to begin on the project’s first phase, Pass41, within a month. It will include 86,000 square feet of office and retail, and is expected to deliver in the first quarter of 2023.

“By embracing the overpass that runs directly through the center of the project, The Pass has been carefully designed to bring energy and life to the surrounding areas,” Third & Urban Director Caleb Brenneman said in a news release today. “(We are) thrilled to bring this large-scale adaptive-reuse project to the submarket, and we’re committed to preserving the character and architectural features of the original buildings, while thoughtfully modernizing the site.”
