DAVIDSON, N.C. — A recent home sale eclipsing $7.2 million set a record in one of the Charlotte area’s wealthiest enclaves.

A newly built estate on June Washam Road sold for $7.233 million on March 27, making it the most expensive home sale on record for the town of Davidson, according to Canopy MLS data. The record was previously held by a sprawling rural property located nearby on Barnhardt Road that sold for $7.1 million in August 2023.

The 10.25-acre property on June Washam Road features a 9,570-square-foot home behind a remote-controlled gate and long, private driveway, according to listing details.

The home has an open floor plan with a gourmet kitchen and expansive living spaces. The basement level includes recreation/game space, a full bar, custom wine room and sauna. There’s also a hidden safe room, attached nanny quarters, resort-style pool and spa, outdoor kitchen and four-car garage.
