KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — More development is on the way in Kannapolis’ downtown revitalization efforts.

On Monday evening, Kannapolis City Council held a public hearing for a master development agreement with a group called Right Field Development LLC. The group is plotting a multiphase, mixed-use project on parcels totaling nearly 2 acres just beyond the right-field wall at Atrium Health Ballpark.

Right Field Development is a partnership between Kannapolis Cannon Ballers owner Temerity Baseball and Lansing Melbourne Group, which has been active in the downtown remake.
