CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A water main break blocked some roads and cut off water to homes in Myers Park early Tuesday morning.
Channel 9 spotted gushing water running down South Kings Drive near Ardsley Road around 5 a.m. as well as Queens Road West.

Charlotte water crews arrived on scene and found a 4-6 inch break in the main. They shut off the water, which impacted homeowners nearby.
Customers in the 1000 block of Ardsley Road will be without their water service until around noon.
Charlotte Water crews will provide bottled water for them that can be picked up at the repair location at Ardsley near Queens.

One inbound lane of South Kings Drive was temporarily closed, but has since reopened.
