FDA approves new over-the-counter pain relief

CHARLOTTE — The Food and Drug Administration approved a new over-the-counter pain relief that could soon head to store shelves.

The agency says Tylenol and Naproxen can be taken together.

The pain relievers work differently, with Tylenol disrupting pain signals immediately while Naproxen targets inflammation.
