DALLAS, NC — A firefighter was injured and taken to the hospital while battling a blaze at a home on South College Street in Dallas Thursday morning.
Pictures from Chopper 9 showed the flames burned through the roof.
Firefighters got the call around 10:30 a.m. They quickly got the blaze under control.
Fire officials said the fire appeared to have started in the chimney.
The estimated amount of damage was $65,000.
