CHARLOTTE — Foodees Fest, a community food festival featuring more than 40 food vendors, is still taking place at Charlotte Premium Outlets.
Admission and parking for the event are completely free.
According to event organizers, the vendor-supported structure eliminates ticket costs while allowing local and national vendors to estimate attendance and prepare inventory.
The festival features dozens of crafters and artisans, along with local, regional, and national food vendors. Organizers noted that bringing hometown businesses alongside larger vendors is designed to highlight local flavor.
The event is held rain or shine, with any weather updates communicated through the festival’s social media channels. Common-area seating is provided at the venue, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or portable seating.
Most vendors accept both card and cash payments.
Leashed pets are permitted at the event.
The Foodees Fest goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
