FORECAST: Weather system to bring rain on St. Patrick’s Day

We finally dug out of the chilly temperatures Thursday.
Unfortunately, it won’t last with the arrival of another weather system.
The next batch of rain arrives Friday with a few morning showers.
The bulk of the rain will start Friday afternoon and go into the night.
About a half-inch of rain is expected.
The system is speeding up a little bit, which should eliminate the chance of rain on Saturday.
Cooler temps are in the forecast.
Below-freezing temperatures are in the forecast for Sunday and Monday mornings.
