A retired NFL player just sold his Mooresville home for just over $5.5 million after it hit the market over the summer.
The Lake Norman property, sold by former NFL player Vinny and Jaclyn Ciurciu, carried an initial asking price of $7.5 million when it listed on June 2. It underwent two price cuts, dropping to about $6.9 million on July 8 and roughly $6.3 million on Aug. 5.
The home on Milford Circle went under contract on Aug. 18, said listing agent Micaela Brewer with Trump International Realty. She and Jessica Babington co-listed the property.
It sold for $972 per square foot, Brewer added. The property drew interest from multiple out-of-state and international buyers. The buyers were local, she said.
