CHARLOTTE — The Fury 325 is shut down due to foundation issues, Carowinds officials said.
The issue was found one week ago during daily inspections.
Carowinds said crews are repairing the ride. Channel 9 is asking how long it will take.
The giga coaster was closed for months in 2023 after a crack was found in one of the ride’s support beams.
The ride reopened after the beam was reinstalled, and the Department of Labor investigated the issue.
