CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Garth Brooks fans will have to wait until next year to hear the thunder roll.
If you’re keeping track, the country music star was originally scheduled to perform at Bank of America Stadium on May 2; however, that date was rescheduled to June 13, then bumped again to Oct. 10.
Friday, concert promoter Varnell Enterprises announced a new date for the show, which is now scheduled to take place April 10, 2021.
This will be the only North Carolina and South Carolina stop on Brooks’ “The Stadium Tour.”
All tickets purchased will be honored. For information on refunds and other ticket options, click here.
In December, when tickets went on sale for the original date, stadium officials said 74,000 tickets were sold in 90 minutes.
Other shows scheduled for Bank of America Stadium impacted by the coronavirus pandemic include Billy Joel, who rescheduled his April concert to 2021, Motley Crüe and Def Leppard rescheduled their summer tour to June 2021, and the Rolling Stones, who postponed their summer tour.
