GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Gaston County Police arrested a man last Tuesday after detectives obtained a warrant charging him with felony indecent liberties with a child.
Jerry Hancock was taken into custody at approximately 1:13 p.m. on Aug. 4, just hours after detectives with the Gaston County Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit secured the charge against him.
Members of the department’s Fugitive Apprehension and Suspect Tracking (FAST) Team were notified shortly after the warrant was issued and began searching for Hancock.
FAST Team members located Hancock at his home outside of Dallas. Police said Hancock was arrested without incident.
