Goldie’s to bring live music, multiple food options to lower South End

CHARLOTTE — Live music and multiple food concepts collide at this new lower South End venue. Goldie’s opens on May 22.

The 6,400-square-foot space at 3601 South Blvd. is home to Goldie’s Kitchen, Tina’s Pizza and the Big Weiner hot dog cart and pickup window — each with a distinct menu.

There’s also two seating areas, two bars and two patios. The main stage will be home to live music nightly, starting June 1. Expect a mix of local and regional acts, most being free to attend. Goldie’s plans to host two to three larger, ticketed shows each month as well.

“We’ve worked hard to create a place that will be a haven for good times thanks to good music, unpretentious food, great drinks, playful design and a laid-back vibe,” says Tyler Hager, owner.
