Historical marker in Plaza Midwood commemorates pivotal moment in Rev. Billy Graham’s life

CHARLOTTE — There is a new historical marker in Charlotte honoring the late Rev. Billy Graham.

The marker is at Central and Pecan avenues in Plaza Midwood.

It sits at the site of a 1930s tent revival and honors Graham’s early life, a pivotal period that led to the launch of his ministry, organizers said.
