MATTHEWS, N.C. — Charlotte Hornets' guard Jeremy Lamb took 30 children from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas on a $100 shopping spree Thursday night.
The shopping spree was part of Academy Sports + Outdoors' grand opening in Matthews.
“When I was young, I would pray for opportunities like this, so to be able to do it for others is a great feeling," Lamb said.
