CHARLOTTE — Charlotte students are getting a firsthand look at careers in healthcare fields.
75 students are taking part in Atrium Health’s Hype Summer Academy.
They’re building skills through virtual reality simulations, anatomy labs, radiology actives and hands-on medical training.
Organizers say the program helps prepare students for high demand healthcare careers while connecting them with mentors and real-world experiences.
