CHARLOTTE — Locally based public companies Duke Energy Corp. and Lowe’s Cos. Inc. are among those to earn the top score on an annual report that rates major employers on LGBTQ-inclusive policies and practices in the workplace.
The Human Rights Campaign came out with its 2020 Corporate Quality Index on Tuesday, revealing that a record 686 businesses — including 214 Fortune 500 companies — received a rating of 100.
