MOUNTAIN ISLAND LAKE, N.C. — Dynamic former NASCAR promoter Humpy Wheeler has sold his 30 acres of property on Mountain Island Lake.
Tommy and Pamela Starnes earlier this month acquired the property, off Ballypat Lane and Arthur Auten Road in Huntersville, for about $3.4 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
The acquisition included Wheeler’s 2,100-square-foot home as well as undeveloped property on a peninsula fronting the lake.
