Interstate 85 South in Gastonia was shut down for hours on Tuesday after a tractor-trailer rolled over and spilled its load onto both sides of the highway.

The crash was caused by a blown tire, which led the driver to lose control of the vehicle, police said.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Authorities did not issue a citation to the driver.
The closure of Interstate 85 South lasted for several hours, significantly impacting traffic in the Gastonia area.
