Infant death linked to co-sleeping, Monroe mother charged

MONROE, N.C. — A Monroe mother is in jail after being charged in the death of her two-month-old child.

Monroe police say they arrested Natricia Wright this week after investigators learned her infant died due to co-sleeping back in May.

Wright is charged with involuntary manslaughter and felony child abuse.

Her bond is set at $750,000.
