Police are saying Melvin Ramseur, 28, is the man responsible for Friday night’s violence.
Police say that 36-year-old Donnie Morgan was killed. Neighbors say he lived at the complex for 2-3 years.
Many of those neighbors told us they had fond feelings for Morgan, but declined to go on camera. They called him a “good family man” and indicated that they would miss him.
Police say the two men who were shot were 54-years-old and 39-years-old. Both are expected to recover.
Police aren’t saying if the two men who were wounded played any role in the violence.
Neighbors and co-workers describe both men as “salt of the Earth.”
Ramseur has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
For now, police aren’t saying what sparked the violence.
