WAXHAW, N.C. — Channel 9 has highlighted veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, but none of them were quiet like World War II Navy veteran Muriel Overton.
She just celebrated a major milestone in her life on none other than Veterans Day.

“I’m over 100 now. My birthday was on the 11th, but they keep celebrating every day,” Overton said.
