A career expert from Linkedin said certain industries are hiring more than others. She said it is the ones helping the United States navigate the “new normal.”

“It’s transportation and logistics. It’s healthcare. It’s retail,” Catherine Fisher said. “We’re seeing lots of demand for software, IT, really jobs that are helping us figure out how to work from home, school, etcetera."

CVS Health, Instacart, Lowe’s and Walmart are all hiring as well. Major tech companies like Google and IBM are offering high-growth jobs and aren’t requiring a college degree.
