Julius Chambers women’s basketball team could soon get state championship rings

CHARLOTTE — The Julius Chambers High School women’s basketball team have been state champions for three years in a row, but don’t have rings to show off the achievement.

Samuel Mills has worked as the team videographer and followed their historic ride.

He’s working to ensure North Carolina’s 4A champs get their state championship rings.

“The ring has been designed already,” Mills said. “Just waiting for the funds. That’s it.”
