Lake Norman market logs another eye-popping home sale

The Lake Norman market has seen at least five other properties go for $5 million or more this year.

CORNELIUS, N.C. — The Lake Norman area’s luxury market has logged what is likely another record-breaking sale. The Mediterranean-style villa on Jetton Road in Cornelius reportedly sold for $7 million in a private transaction that closed Nov. 12.

The home is in the posh Peninsula neighborhood -- and the lake views it offers from every room are what sold the buyer, Adam Feinberg, on the property.

“You don’t see another home,” Feinberg, founder of an e-commerce business, said. “You’re just looking at water.’’

The $7 million price tag is thought to be the highest in Cornelius in at least the past year.
