LANCASTER, S.C. — Leaders with the Lancaster County Schools district are weighing options to help build new schools and keep up with growth.
District leaders said Harrisburg and Indian Land elementary schools are already at or near capacity.
“We’ve been here close to 10 years and from the time we moved here until now, is just astronomical growth,” said parent Scott Davis. “It’s super overcrowded trying to get anywhere.”
Officials with the district have talked about a bond referendum to pay for new schools and safety improvements.

In the video at the top of this webpage, some parents told Channel 9′s South Carolina bureau reporter Tina Terry that despite the growth, they would vote against any proposed bond.
