• Lincoln Co. asking for public's help to find missing woman


    LINCOLN COUNTY - Lincoln County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing western Lincoln County woman.

    According to a release, Toasha Nicole Rice, 27, of Vale, was last seen by relatives on May 26 when she left her home at 6887 Lackey Road. She left with a white female in a black four-door car.

    Rice is also known as Nikki Green by some friends and on Facebook.

    Family members have attempted to contact the woman on her cellphone but it appears to be turned off. She is on medication but is not believed to have her medicine with her.

    Rice is a white female with blue eyes and brown hair. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.

    Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 704-732-9050.
