MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — The recent spike in COVID-19 cases in North Carolina made it difficult for trick-or-treating this Halloween.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it’s one of the high-risk fall activities for spreading the virus. But families still found unique ways to celebrate the holiday.
“Yeah, we love Halloween, so we’re trying to make the best of it," said Halloween fan Kara Hoffman.
