CONCORD, N.C. — Horror and sci-fi movie buffs got the chance to get ready for Halloween with the annual Mad Monster Convention in Concord.
It took place at Embassy Suites Sunday morning.
There was a film festival and some of the most well-known actors and writers in the horror business signed autographs, took pictures, and answered questions from fans.
“It’s like entering a giant playground of all the best people, your best friends, you’ve made new friends,” said Peter Morton who attended the event. “You’ve compared your favorite movies and characters, and the celebs we have are always amazing as well.”
There’s a Mad Monster Party set for late February, also at the Embassy Suites in Concord.
