RALEIGH — A North Carolina man is in custody after investigators accused him of threatening to shoot the CEO of Duke Energy, WRAL in Raleigh reported.
Luke Hoover, 24, said on social media that he would shoot someone at a public venue, police said.
The intended victim was Duke Energy CEO, who plans to speak at N.C. State University’s spring commencement ceremony next week.
