According to CMPD, a K-9 officer spotted a vehicle just before midnight that had been reported stolen last week traveling on Interstate 77 near the Interstate 277 exit.

Police said when the officer tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver refused to stop, and the officer chased the speeding vehicle for several miles until it crashed into a curb and flipped several times on Beatties Ford Road at Cindy Lane.
