Man dropped off at hospital after southeast Charlotte drive-by shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for suspects in an overnight drive-by shooting in southeast Charlotte.

Authorities said one person was shot and was dropped off at the hospital. He’s expected to survive.

Investigators told Channel 9 an apartment and a car were also hit by gunfire, which erupted just before 1 a.m. on Marvin Road, just off Wendover Road.

Channel 9 could see crime scene tape roping off the area and police looking for witnesses.

No one else was injured and police have not released a description of the suspect vehicle.
