CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officers say they have arrested a man who fired a gun inside a University of North Carolina Charlotte dorm earlier this week.
Xzavier Terry, 25, has been charged with felony possession of a firearm on education property and felony discharging a firearm in educational student housing or dorm.

Police said Terry was a guest of a student in Lynch Hall Tuesday when he shot through a wall. The bullet went into the room next door.
No injuries were reported.
No other information has been released.
