MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Traffic concerns prompted the Mooresville Board of Commissioners to delay a vote on a proposed 50-townhome development.
The proposed site for the project sits near Brawley School Road exit 35 on Interstate 77.
The board said they need more information on traffic impacts and alternate routes before voting on the project.
Residents have also raised concerns over safety and drivers being routed through neighborhoods, The Charlotte Observer reported.
The board voted 5-1 to revisit the proposal at a meeting on April 19.
