New apartment complex coming to Huntersville

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — An apartment developer has begun work on its third project in the Charlotte area.

HHHunt Corp., based in Blacksburg, Virginia, will build a 320-unit development in Huntersville, near the intersection of Arthur Davis and Independence Hill roads. The $55 million-plus project, Abberly Liberty Crossing, broke ground on Tuesday and the first residents are expected to move in during late summer or fall of next year.

Abberly Liberty Crossing will include one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 792 to 1,499 square feet. Units will have ADT smart home technology like smart hubs, smart thermostats and smart locks. Community amenities will include a fitness center, clubhouse, pool, an outdoor entertainment area, sidewalks, pocket parks, a bark park, and car-care center and car-charging stations.
