CHARLOTTE — Albemarle Corp. has appointed a new CEO to take the helm in 2027.
The lithium giant said on Sept. 3 that it has named Ragnar Udd its new president and chief executive officer. Udd will take over the position effective Feb. 1, 2027. Current CEO Kent Masters will transition to the role of board executive chairman upon Udd joining the company.
