NEWTON, N.C. — The Newton Walmart is set to close for renovations on Monday.
Other Walmarts in the area will also get upgrades, including in Albemarle, Belmont, Lancaster, Locust, and Rock Hill.
Newton upgrades include new paint and lighting, expanded aisles, and online grocery pickup.
The store is expected to reopen in four weeks.
The pharmacy and fuel station will stay open.
