CHARLOTTE — Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating a fatal car accident in south Charlotte.

CMPD says the two-car accident happened at the intersection of Pineville-Matthews Road and Baybrook on Sunday night.
Police have not released the cause of the crash.
