DRONE VIDEO: House engulfed by flames in west Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Firefighters are investigating a fire that engulfed a west Charlotte home Sunday afternoon.

Officials said they responded to heavy smoke and fire at a two-story home on Bullock Drive around 4 p.m.

Firefighters said they were able to control the fire within 25 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The damage to the home is estimated at $198,000.

Channel 9 viewer Carl Holt sent in drone video that shows firefighters in the process of putting out the fire that engulfed the back of the house and collapsed part of the roof.
