CHARLOTTE — Opening statements could start Monday in the trial of two defendants accused of killing Mary Collins.
As of last week, eight jurors have officially been selected. Four more are needed, as well as four alternates.
Lavi Pham and James Salerno are on trial for murder, kidnapping and other charges.
Detectives say they lured Collins to a NoDa apartment back in 2020 and stabbed her more than 130 times.
A judge says the trial could last six weeks.
