CHARLOTTE — Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks is finding his footing in the community through a monthlong partnership that helps children in the local community.
Brooks partnered with Haraz Coffee House in Ballantyne.
He and his fiancée created a signature drink with proceeds that benefit HopeKids.
The organization supports children with life-threating illnesses by hosting fun events that surround their families with hope.
Brooks spent the day with many of those families.
“To see the smile on their faces and hear the comments that they say that this is their best day that they’ve had in a while, or just saying that they love the events that they host, that just lets me know that I’m supporting a great organization,” said Brooks.
Monday is the last day for Brooks’ special blend of matcha at Haraz Coffee House in support of HopeKids.
