HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A person was trapped under a large tree after it fell on a mobile home in Huntersville Tuesday.
The Huntersville Fire Department responded to a call in the 9500 block of Rollingwood Drive shortly after 3 p.m.
According to the fire department, crews worked for more than 45 minutes to remove the trapped person. MEDIC then transported them to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The tree crushed the back corner of the home.
