Piedmont Medical Center spreads holiday cheer by dressing up NICU patients

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Nurses at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill created a magical first Christmas for their smallest patients by dressing up NICU babies for a holiday-themed photoshoot.

The parents of the patients were excited to create this special memory.

The manager of the Piedmont Medical Center NICU, Aneisha Heath, helped choose the props and created the backdrop for the photoshoot.

Health said that having a baby already creates a special memory, but she wanted to give parents a fun, themed keepsake for the holidays.

“The birth of a baby is already a memorable time for families, but we wanted to add to the experience by giving parents the chance to get some special photos that will serve as a keepsake and fun, sweet memory,” Heath said. “We do something similar for other holidays, such as Halloween and Valentine’s Day.
