Police asking for help as they look for missing Gastonia woman

GASTONIA, N.C. — Police in Gastonia are searching for a woman who hasn’t been heard from in nearly two weeks.

According to the Gastonia Police Department, 38-year-old Cherie Shavon Ingram has been missing from her home on S. South Street since March 27.

Ingram is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds.

Police have not released any other details.
