CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man's body discovered in some woods Monday afternoon in east Charlotte has turned into a homicide investigation, police said.
Investigators said a neighbor found the body of Michael Clinton Mills Jr., 22, behind a home on Medford Drive, near the Central Avenue and Eastway Drive intersection.
Homicide detectives confirmed Tuesday morning Mills died from a gunshot wound and ruled it a homicide.
