ROCK HILL, S.C. — A 5-year-old was hit in the leg with shrapnel after someone shot into a house in York County Sunday, police said.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on King Drive in Rock Hill.

Police said several people, including the 5-year-old, were inside the house asleep at the time.
While investigating, officers found several shell casings outside the house as well as damage where bullets entered the home.
Authorities have not said what led up to the shooting. No arrests have been made.
