HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Police are reaching out to the public again, trying to find those responsible after a Huntersville man was shot to death inside his house 11 years ago.
The Huntersville Police Department has been investigating the death of Courtney Saunders since he was gunned down on April 7, 2007.
Officers said that just after 4 a.m. that morning, two men forced their way into Saunders’ home and killed him.
One man was described as wearing a black jacket. The other had a shaved head and was wearing a purple or black hoodie. Both men had guns, according to police.
A $1,000 reward has been offered to anyone who has information about the crime and tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 704-896-7867.
